Yes. both MarkBook® (our Cloud Version) and MarkBook® for Windows® (our PC version) are annual renewal products that expire and require a renewal subscription.
We also recommend that you keep a copy of your registration code for MarkBook®.
For MarkBook for Windows we recommend that you make a backup installation file on a CD or USB drive that can be used to reinstall the software at a later date if needed.

The easiest way is to purchase online. Our online purchasing is secure and we accept VISA and MasterCard credit cards, or you can choose to "Pay by Check."

Purchasing and registering is an easy process that involves 4 simple steps:
- Purchase –
Purchase the software online. You do not need to wait for a physical CD. You just purchase a "license" for the software. You get access to a virtual download for MarkBook® for Windows® (our PC Version) on the web page after you purchase. For MarkBook® (our Cloud Version) an automated link is provided by clicking on the “New Account” button.
- Download & Install –
If you do not already have the Demo version you need to download the program. Downloading is quick and should take less than a minute on normal connections. You can skip step if you already have the Demo version installed. With all our programs, the Trial and Demo versions are the actual version of the applications with a 30-day time limit and some restricted functionality in MarkBook® for Windows®.
- Activate –
Activate the MarkBook® (Cloud Version) by completing this form.
- Confirmation –
An automated email is sent from the eCommerce application confirming your purchase. Please store this email in your records for future reference.
Service Terms
- Our support technicians know the answer to all common questions immediately and we have specialists to help with your more technical questions. They put forth every effort to help you resolve any questions or problems.
- Downloading our products is fast and easy. If any problems arise, we are here to help you find a solution. Make sure that you already have your computer system running before downloading. We are not able to help with your hardware installation.
- We always strive our best to find a solution to every problem.
- We fully support products made by The Acadiem Group. If you need general help with your computer system or assistance with a product made by another company, our technicians may be unable to assist you.
- Your support purchase is tied to an email address at the time of your enquiry. It is not transferable to another user. Every attempt is made to provide an answer within 24 hours of the next business day.
- All support is provided on the basis that we will make every effort to provide you with the correct information and the best solution. We suggest that prior to making any significant changes to your computer, you back up your data. There are many factors that influence your computer system and we will not be liable for any loss that might arise.

MarkBook® will give you our cloud version of our program with the ability to keep all of your information in a readily available, safe and secure on-line environment with Microsoft Azure 256-bit Advanced Service Encryption. You will have the option to use either its Browser or Desktop functionality as you choose. This version also includes Connect, an online portal that allows parents and students to securely review reports anytime.
Purchase of a single user license incurs no additional cost with respect to MarkBook for the duration of your license. Your license is active for 12 months from the date of purchase and may be renewed at any time.
MarkBook® for Windows is our traditional, classic version of MarkBook that many users have grown familiar with over the years for use on PC’s.
Purchasing MarkBook for Windows® does incur additional cost.
If your school jurisdiction has a district license for MarkBook, then you should qualify for MarkBook® for Windows® at no extra cost. Inquire at support@markbook.com for further information.
MarkBook® Single User (our Cloud Version) is an annual renewable One Year Subscription which expires 365 days after purchase.
MarkBook® for Windows® (our PC Version) Single User license is an annual renewable One Year Subscription which expires on August 31 of the next calendar year.

Yes. If you purchase 25 or more licenses then volume discounts will be applied.
